Business Development Representative
Full time · Orlando, FL
Open new doors for Voxtell: multi-location operators, local business communities, and the partnerships that compound.
About the role
Some of our best customers run fifteen locations on Voxtell. The BDR job is finding the next ones: multi-location operators and the businesses around them where the phone runs the day.
You will represent Voxtell in business communities across our four Florida metros and build the relationships that keep referrals coming.
Voxtell has been serving businesses since 2014, and the AI era is the biggest door-opener we have ever had. You will use AI to research accounts and map markets, then do the human part: show up, listen, and connect what a business needs to what we build.
What you will do
- Prospect multi-location businesses where phones and customer conversations run the operation
- Build referral relationships around our customers: local networks, associations, and complementary vendors
- Represent Voxtell at business events across Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, and Miami
- Use AI to map markets and research accounts before you walk in the door
- Work with the founder and sales team on accounts that deserve a bigger swing
- Track everything in the CRM so follow-ups never slip
What you bring
- 2+ years in business development, field sales, or partnerships
- You build genuine relationships and play the long game
- Self-directed: you can own a metro and a number
- Comfortable with an AI-assisted research and outreach stack
Nice to have
- An existing network in Florida business communities
- Spanish or Portuguese
